We are pleased to announce the Super Production Cup UK (incorporating HPI Formula Ten Challenge), a new and exciting race series which is designed to take on the ideas of competitive and friendly Radio Controlled Car racing in an affordable manner. The series is organized by Stephen Fabray and Martin Reeder who for many years have been paramount with the organisation of the Tamiya series in the UK.

The SPC-UK will have three main classes as described below.

Much-More Clubman Mini Challenge

Mini racing is proving to be very popular at many clubs and this series aims to take the enthusiasm to a national level.  Controlled motors and tyres plus a friendly set of regulations will ensure that the racing will be fun and competitive. Motors in the form of Much-More Clubman 20T, and ‘Mini’ radial tyres.

In addition to the principle M-Chassis class and still under the Much-More Clubman Mini Challenge banner, will be a Mini 'Outlaw' class. This will run on the same motor and tyre combination as M-Chassis, but will be open to a wider range of chassis including 4WD 'Mini' Chassis from ABC Hobby, Active Hobby and the HPI Cup Racer.

HPI Formula Ten Challenge

This caters for HPI Formula 10 models, but also has an ‘Open’ class to include Tamiya F103, F104 & F201 as well as 3Racing F109. The HPI Formula 10 Challenge will all run on HPI 'Bridgestone' Slicks and with HPI Saturn 27T motors, while the ‘Open’ class includes a wider range of rubber tyres including Cross #CFT-3US and #CFT-4US.  These cars are performance balanced and we believe looks set to become a very popular and competitive class.

Comet RC Team Magic Stock TC Challenge

Comet RC/Team Magic will be the title sponsors for the Stock Touring class. This class will be based around ‘off the shelf’ plastic chassis touring cars from Team Magic (E4JS) and Tamiya (TA05 & TB03). A limited list of necessary option parts are included to ensure longevity and in order to performance balance the cars specifications. Controlled tyres are Team Magic pre-mounted while the motor options are currently in the final stages of testing, but it likely to be a mildly powered brushless system with a comparable brushed option.
